The 2011 Ovation Awards nominations have been announced and congratulations go out to the Arts Club Theatre Company who have received 18 nominations. Of those, 15 were for performances of Hairspray and Next to Normal at South Granville’s Stanley Theatre. Some of these nominations include:

This year the Ovations mark their 8th year of recognizing excellence in lower mainland musical productions. Check out their nominations and cast a vote for your favourite by January 26 at midnight! This year’s ceremony takes place on January 29 at 7 pm at The Vancouver Academy of Music.
