Uno Langmann Limited presents Savage Beauty, Feb 2012

Bon Echo, Ontario by AY Jackson at Uno Langmann Limited on South Granvile, Vancouver, BC

For the month of February 2012 Uno Langmann Limited presents the exhibition Savage Beauty: Visions of Canada.

Canadian artists used their medium to unify the vast nation by creating an identity based on the overwhelming influence of the natural surroundings. In the 19th and early 20th century, artists reflected this theme throughout each diverse region of the country, thus creating a distinct identity to present to the rest of the world. This exhibition includes works by F.M. Bell-Smith, A.Y. Jackson, John Hammond, Charles H. Scott, Eric Riordon, John Innes, Henry Nesbitt McEvoy, Thomas William Fripp and Thomas Bamford.
