The Marion Scott Gallery and Kardosh Projects are pleased to announce the release of the 2012 annual collection of prints from Cape Dorset, Nunavut during the South Granville Fall Arts Preview on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 10am-6pm.

As in the past, this year’s collection of images showcases a range of talent from the community’s renowned printmaking studio. Included are several new images by Kenojuak Ashevak, an iconic figure in Canadian art. Also featured are works by the community’s rising new generation of Inuit artists, including Shuivnai Ashoona, Ningeoluk Teevee and Kavavaow Mannomee. The collection will be on view from October 13 through November 3. The exhibition will also feature recent prints by Shuvinai Ashoona.
