Susannah Montague Of Things I Can't Unthink Elissa Cristall Gallery South Granville

July 12 – August 25, ELISSA CRISTALL GALLERY presents Summer Exhibition

Posted on 25 JULY 2018

Join Elissa Cristall Gallery for a rotating exhibition of pure painting by gallery and guest artists. See the work of Kyle Scheurmann who graduated with an MFA from Emily Carr University and Wei Li, a BFA graduate from the University of Alberta and a finalist in the RBC Painting Competition in 2017.  New paintings by Lesley Finlaysoninclude 30″ square landscapes and 20″ tondos (round canvases) which play off each other brilliantly.  Chris Friesen interprets pre-impressionist Camille Corot by using “abstract licks of paint” applied to a style still rooted in tradition and Megan Hepburn‘s rich, muted hues give her abstracts a luminescent and vibrant quality.
