Love Your City 2026 ๐
February has a way of slowing things down, in a good way. Fewer plans, colder air, and just enough space to notice whatโs around you. This year, South Granville is leaning into that feeling by taking part in the Love Your City Contest. A month-long campaign inviting locals to reconnect with Vancouver by playing tourist in their own city.
Think of it as a gentle nudge to wander, look up, and remember why this place feels like home.
A love letter to the city
Love Your City is all about rediscovering Vancouver neighbourhood by neighbourhood. Throughout February, different areas are featured across social channels, paired with giveaways, playful installations, and a grand prize packed with Vancouver goodies valued at over $4,000.
But beyond the prizes, the heart of the campaign is simple. Get outside. Explore a little. Reconnect with the city and with each other. Bring a friend, meet a new one, or send a โwish you were hereโ photo to someone far away.
South Granville
As part of Love Your City, visitors are encouraged to explore the area and collect passport stamps for additional contest entries. Stamps are earned by doing everyday neighbourhood things. Grabbing a coffee. Visiting a local shop. Snapping a photo of public art or a love-themed installation.
The Love Your City Passport
Participants can play along with a printable or digital passport, collecting stamps as they explore different neighbourhoods throughout the month. Each stamp equals an extra entry into the grand prize draw.
Instructions, passport downloads, and stamp details are shared through Love Your Cityโs social channels and story highlights. Itโs easy to join in, whether youโre planning a full afternoon out or just passing through.
The Love Your City campaign runs throughout February.
Consider this your invitation to wander, explore, and maybe fall for South Granville all over again. ๐
