The Songwriting & Production Camp at Pleasant Mountain Music is an advanced two-week program for young songwriters who want to develop their skills in songwriting and music production. Participants write 2–5 original songs while learning professional songwriting techniques such as lyric writing, storytelling, and creative writing methods used in university-level music programs. In parallel, they gain hands-on experience in recording, arranging, and home studio production.

A key feature of the camp is working with producer David Ziehr, who brings a professional studio environment into the program and guides participants through the modern music production process. Campers see their ideas developed into professionally produced recordings.

With only six spots available, the program offers highly individualized instruction, feedback, and an immersive learning experience. Each participant receives a professionally produced song as a final result.
