You may have noticed the recent brilliant pop of colour in the evergreen planters throughout the neighbourhood. As part of the Canada-wide Communities in Bloom celebration, the South Granville BIA unveils the Canada 150 tulip. Also known as the Maple Leaf tulip, this beautiful bulb is the official flower of Canada’s 150th anniversary. Selectively created as an elegant white flower with red flames, it bears a striking resemblance to the Canadian flag. Thousands more will bloom in community gardens across Canada.
