TELUS #StandWithOwners is back - Win* $125K

Telus is thrilled to highlight a powerful opportunity returning for its seventh consecutive year to celebrate and elevate the hard work of Canadian small business owners: TELUS Business’ #StandWithOwners program. Since 2020, TELUS has committed close to $7 million to champion Canadian small businesses through direct funding, technology, and exposure.

This year, the #StandWithOwners program has evolved to further support local Canadian small businesses. Whether a business is a high-end retail shop, a corner restaurant, a local clinic, or a boutique marketing consultancy, an award category has been designed to recognize its story. The contest features:

• Three Grand Prize Category Awards, each valued at $125,000 in funding, technology, and exposure, sponsored by key partners Samsung, Scotiabank, and Google

• Six Community Awards, each including $10,000 in funding and additional prizes

Following the announcement of the Grand Prize and Community Award winners on October 1, the public will be invited to vote for its favourite overall #StandWithOwners 2026 winner. The People's Choice Award recipient will receive an additional $25,000 in funding, sponsored by Salesforce.

While small businesses, which represent 98% of employer businesses in Canada, are the engine of the Canadian economy, many owners report feeling isolated in their entrepreneurial journey. To help address this challenge, TELUS is expanding the #StandWithOwners program by creating an exclusive year-round community designed to connect owners, provide thought leadership, and offer special benefits that can help strengthen their businesses.
