Temporary Changes to Bus Stops

The City of Vancouver has an important update about transit changes coming to the 2700–3400 blocks of Granville Street.

In short: several existing bus stops at W 12th and W 15th will be temporarily closed, and new temporary stops will be added at W 13th and just south of W 16th. These changes are scheduled to roll out by 28 November 2025.

This may affect members in a few ways — particularly those closest to the affected blocks.

What to Expect

• More foot traffic re-routing to the new temporary stops

• Parking adjustments, including the temporary removal of up to four spaces at W 13th and Granville, with some spaces re-opening near the closed stops

• A shift in passenger pick-up and drop-off patterns, especially during peak times

Who’s Impacted

• Businesses and residents between W 12th and W 16th, as well as nearby schools and anyone relying on transit along this stretch.

• Shops near W 13th may see more waiting passengers and line-ups due to the new stop locations.
