What a summer it has been!

Thanks to your partnership and enthusiasm, our 2026 summer - featuring the GranVino Wine Walk, Graze Market, Plaza Pours, Bend & Flow Yoga, and more - was the most successful and cost-efficient activation in South Granville BIA history.

Here’s How It Went

Despite broader economic belt-tightening across retail, South Granville proved that people are actively seeking out vibrant, accessible neighbourhood experiences. By leaning into high-traffic, community-focused programming, we captured the "treat economy" and delivered record-breaking results for our district.

GranVino Wine Walk: A Standout Success

A major highlight of the summer season was the GranVino Wine Walk. GranVino proved to be a true powerhouse anchor event for South Granville:

• Self-Sustaining Impact: GranVino Ticket sales covered over a quarter of our total summer campaign costs, directly subsidizing our free community programming (like plaza yoga and outdoor concerts) and maximizing BIA budget efficiency.

• Driving Direct Foot Traffic Into Stores: GranVino physically brought hundreds of engaged shoppers through store doors along the street, driving immediate sales and introducing new regional customers to our local merchants.
